Mario and Paola Caputo, owners of Bell’ Italia Pizzeria, along with their two sons Samuel and Matthew, moved to Arizona from Connecticut in July of 1999. After numerous attempts to find a pizzeria and Italian restaurant to suit their tastes, they decided to open one of their own. See Our Menu
Mario has always had a passion for cooking. “He never ceased to amaze me at dinnertime with one of his gourmet dishes”, Paola says with pride.
Mario can be found making fresh pizza dough for the day and hand tossing each pizza - as each pizza is made to order. Mario has rightfully earned his nickname - “Pizza Man”.
The family tradition continues as son Matthew, inherits his father’s passion for cooking. Each meal is made to order so you are served with fresh quality food for a pleasurable dining experience. 
For the younger guests that visit, they may entertain themselves with a miniature rolling pin and dough to create their own pizza.
